Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technician Program 2015-2016


FEE: $1200.00 (Cash, Check or Credit Card) Paid in Full upon Enrollment or pay $600 in two payments. (MCAS does not offer financial aid)


DAYS/HOURS: Hybrid Program:  10-20 hours of online and home study are required each week.  Class will meet for 18 weeks on SATURDAYS 8:00am-2:00pm.

Students will be required to complete  200 hours of practical experience through an internship program for completion of the full program.



1.      Must pass basic entrance exam.

2.      Must be a high school graduate or posses a general education development (GED) certificate.

3.      Students should be 18 years old by the completion of the program.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:  The Pharmacy Technician Program will address Basic Pharmacology, Pharmacy Calculations, Deciphering and Filling Medication Orders, Reconstitution of Medications, Medical Terminology, Basic Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacy Operations.
