Pharmacy Technician


The Pharmacy Technician assessment test is available M-Th at 9am and T-W afternoons between 4 and 6pm. Pre-Admission Orientation is Mandatory for Enrollment - no appointment is needed to take the test.  You must bring the following items with you: California ID or California Drivers License & original Social Security Card, GED or High School Diploma, and a calculator.  Successful completion of the program prepares students for the Pharmacy Certification Exam and externship.  The Pharmacy Technician Program will address basic pharmacology, pharmacy calculations, deciphering and filling medication orders, reconstitution of medications, medical terminology, basic anatomy and physiology, and pharmacy operations.  Classroom: 240 hours. Externship: 140 hours.

1. Must pass basic entrance exam.
2. Must be a high school graduate or possess a general education development (GED) certificate.
3. Students should be 18 years old by the completion of the program.
