First Day of ClassAttendance on the first day of class is mandatory. Students who miss the first day of class forfeit their seat to people on the waiting list. If you absolutely cannot attend the first class meeting, please make arrangements with your instructor before the first class meeting by calling our front office at 626-471-3035. High School StudentsHigh school students having credit deficiencies may be admitted if they obtain approval from their counselor or administrator. All classes are open to those who qualify as adults and is on a first-come first-served basis. Uniform Complaint ProceduresThe Monrovia Unified School District has a uniform complaint process as required by law. MUSD Policy 1312.1 requires a written complaint be filed with the district’s superintendent. The MUSD Superintendent and the Administrators of Instructional Services, Human Resource Services, Business Services, and Pupil Personnel Services are designated as compliance officers. Refunds & TransfersREFUNDS/TRANSFERS
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND A CLASS FOR WHICH YOU HAVE PAID, AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND OR A ONE-TIME TRANSFER, YOU MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE (5) BUSINESS DAYS BEFORE THE CLASS BEGINS. For a refund, your registration fee minus a processing change of $15 will be credited to your account or refunded by check within 3 weeks. If the Adult School cancels a class for which you are registered, you will receive a full refund within 3 weeks.
NOTE: ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER CLASS BEGINS. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON BOOKS. RETURNED CHECKS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $20.00 HANDLING CHARGE. NO SMOKINGSmoking is not allowed anywhere on the school premises.
